Memories of a Festival #3: Hiatus Kaiyote at Glastonbury

Despite only being active since 2011, Australian neo-soul quartet Hiatus Kaiyote have exness online done some big, big things in the past few years. They've counted Erykah Badu, Q-Tip (who they've also collaborated with) and the late Prince as fans; they've been nominated for two Grammys; and they've played some of the world's biggest festivals – including Glastonbury. Their experience at the massive, mud-soaked festival in England is a particularly memorable one, and we spoke to drummer Perrin Moss about why the festival was so unique for them – in both good and not-so-good ways.

Le Festival d'Été de Québec ou FEQ se tiendra du 7 au 17 juillet prochain dans la capitale nationale. Comme chaque année, ce festival de grande envergure amène à Québec sur les plaines d'Abraham de très grosses pointures internationales. Five bands to catch at Pouzza Fest this year

Punk may not be everybody’s musical cup of tea, but Montrealers who drink that cup of tea like water are certainly going to be stoked for this year’s Pouzza Fest. With a name that combines poutine and pizza into one, it would be hard for one not to be excited. This year’s lineup features almost 200 bands from multiple parts of the punk spectrum from ska to hardcore, with several bands (Big D and the Kids Table, the Planet Smashers, the Sainte Catherines and Suicide Machines) playing one of their albums in its entirety for the festival. Here’s a list of just five of the bands worth checking out at venues across the city, starting tomorrow.
