Montréal en Lumière: outdoor shows announced

By February 9, 2015 No Comments

Montréal en Lumière has always been a huge 10-day long party throughout Montreal’s downtown core, and the lineup for the outdoor concerts for this year’s edition of the festival will surely keep people entertained even in freezing weather.

Among those playing at the RBC Stage this year will be the Juno-nominated Pierre Kwenders (February 25th), who played at Pop Montreal this past September; local hip hop-influenced indie group Random Recipe (February 27th); and musically eclectic local quintet Misteur Valaire (February 28th), who won the award for Electronic Album of the Year at the 2014 ADISQ Awards.

The outdoor shows will also include sets from DJs like CRi (February 20th), whose Oda EP was among Nightlife Magazine’s albums of the year in 2014; and rising local producer Ryan Playground (February 21st). Other artists playing the outdoor shows include Elisapie, Brigitte Boisjoli and Vincent Vallières.

These shows, as well as the festival’s many other outdoor and indoor activities, will be happening while Montréal en Lumière goes on from February 19th to March 1st in various locations throughout Montreal.
