Field Trip Life Festival Announces 2016 Lineup

By February 24, 2016 No Comments

Field Trip, a unique arts and community music festival in downtown Toronto, announced their lineup for their fourth annual festival. The Toronto based label Arts & Crafts started this festival as part of its 10th anniversary celebrations and has seen much success with it.

American indie rock band The National and Robyn, a Swedish dance pop vocalist, are amongst Field Trip’s 2016 headliners.

Canadian band July Talk, who will also be playing Montreal’s Osheaga, are on the list of performers as well as Plants and Animals, Of Montreal and Santigold.

Keeping a strong focus on Canadian artists, Canadian rapper Jazz Cartier will also make an appearance, as well as Toronto-based Holy Fuck and singer Jason Collet.

Field Trip has all the makings of an all-experience festival, combining food and art with music by having a wide selection of food vendors and local chefs, an Oculus Rift virtual experience and a daytime camping site.

Toronto’s Field Trip Life Festival is taking place on June 4 and 5 at Fork York & Garrison Common. For more coverage before and during the festival, stay tuned to Shoeclack.
